Mellow Embraces for Brass Ensemble

“Mellow Embraces”, the title speaks for itself, is a classic slow fox, here in an arrangement for 10 brass instruments. The soulful melody with a solo part from the euphonium is embraced by lush harmonies and light-footed rhythmic elements from the tradition of the great dance orchestras. Dancers float through the ballroom in festive attire, and the slow fox fulfills its purpose and opens up the space for intimacy of all kinds.

Originally composed for the Rottweiler Bierbankmusik program, this arrangement offers even more opportunities to take the audience by the hand and lead them to the dance. Optionally, the horn parts can also be played by tenor horn, baritone or euphonium. Additional parts are available on VENVICTA.de if required.

Der Titel „Mellow Embraces“ spricht für sich, ein klassischer Slow Fox, hier in einem Arrangement für 10 Blechbläser. Die gefühlvolle Melodie mit einem Solopart vom Euphonium wird umarmt von satten Harmonien und mit leichtfüßig rhythmischen Elementen aus der Tradition der großen Tanzorchester. Durch den Ballsaal schweben die Tanzenden in festlicher Garderobe, und der Slow Fox erfüllt seinen Zweck und öffnet den Raum für Vertrautheiten aller Art.

Ursprünglich für das Programm der Rottweiler Bierbankmusik komponiert bietet das vorliegende Arrangement noch einmal mehr Möglichkeiten diese Mellow Embraces das Publikum an die Hand zu nehmen und zum Tanz zu führen.
